October 18 – November 5, 2016
The Wedeman Gallery is pleased to welcome back the artists of the Newton Art Association for an exhibition based on the poem by Robert Frost, October. Over seventy member artists will interpret this poem as a starting point to inspire and influence their artwork. The poem is rich with literal and figurative symbols and is a metaphor for the staving off of death. NAA members will submit paintings, drawings and sculpture for the exhibit. This will be an awards exhibition and the prizes will be given at the reception.
Artists’ Reception: Thursday, October 20, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Artwork Sale: Sunday, October 30, 12 – 4 pm
The sales event will include artwork, jewelry, and a limited number of crafts.
