About the artists:
Mari Saxon
Mari Saxon is a Russian-born conceptual photographer based in Central MA, USA. With an academic background in the arts and a 25-year award-winning career in architecture, she is constructing images through combination of theatricality with humor and echoes of Old Master painting. Photography became her primary medium after she relocated to USA in 2022 and left architecture behind. Through staged realities and character-driven narratives, she explores identity, transformation, and the unconventional beauty, blending absurdity with psychological depth.
Her works have been internationally awarded, published, and displayed in 40+ exhibitions internationally. In addition to her practice, she leads workshops and artist talks, fostering dialogue on diversity, self-exploration, and personal myth-making.
Dmitry Gomberg
Dmitry Gomberg (born 1980, Moscow) is a photographer and visual artist based between Paris, New York, and Tbilisi. He studied geology at Moscow State University before moving to the United States in 2000. In 2004 he received his first camera and began working in a wedding photography studio, later enrolling in the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York in 2005. Since then, he has focused on documentary photography, exploring themes of intimacy, observation, and the absurdity of everyday life. His work has been published in National Geographic, GEO, and The New Yorker, and exhibited internationally. He also produces independent zines and photo books.
Fima Furman
Fima Furman is a Moscow-born photographer living in Boston, MA. Since his move to the U.S. in 1991, his camera has been an almost always present companion. Fima has extensive experience in event photography, ranging from art exhibits to dance performances. He has collaborated closely with TurnPark Art Space in the Berkshires and the 5Rhythms Dance Community in the Boston area. His work has been exhibited at varius art shows throughout Boston and benefit events.
Fima’s art is the pursuit of unnoticed beauty, a relentless effort to frame the world’s quiet magnificence. He seeks to create images that tell stories of life’s fleeting moments and the power of nature and humanity. He draws inspiration from the world’s natural grace, the beauty of his friends, and the profound narratives that unfold around us daily. Photography for him is a dialogue with the world – a chance to elevate the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Anna Kreslavskaya
Anna Kreslavskaya is a Russian-born photographer and visual artist based in Boston. Her creative path began through the study of art history at The Hermitage Museum and the Academy of Culture in Saint Petersburg. Although she later earned a degree in public administration focused on nonprofit finance and economics, art remained her enduring passion. In 2006, she immigrated to the United States with only a suitcase and a camera—tools that became her compass and confidant.
Photography soon evolved from a personal refuge into a decade-long career in event photography, capturing weddings, lectures, and celebrations. Yet, beneath these moments, she sought to reveal the unseen—memory, emotion, and identity. Today, her focus lies in what she calls “psychological art,” exploring human emotions, thoughts, and subconscious states through conceptual portraiture. Her award-winning work has been exhibited in galleries, collected privately, and shared widely across digital platforms.
