The Boston Camera Club Members’ Photography Exhibition will be on view from October 2 to October 25, 2025, at the Wedeman Gallery, Lasell University, 47 Myrtle Ave., Newton, MA 02466. Showcasing the work of 54 club members, the exhibition highlights a wide range of photographic styles—from architecture and abstract to landscape, portrait, and photojournalism—reflecting the diverse interests of the club’s photographers. Each artist was invited to provide a short written statement to accompany their image, offering insight into the inspiration behind their work, whether it stems from a personal experience, a specific setting, or a moment of serendipity.
There will be an artists’ reception at the gallery on Saturday, October 4, 11am– 1pm, which is free and open to the public. Viewing hours at the gallery are Tuesdays, 2-5pm, Thursdays through Saturdays, 2-5pm.
Established in 1881, the Boston Camera Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of photography as an art and science. Programs are planned to interest all photographers, from beginners to skilled artisans. Guests and prospective members are welcome at any of the club’s meetings.
